I woke up from an actual fever dream to watch Mr. Beige’s Night Out in New York’s Hottest House of Mirrors and it fit right in. Catherine O’hara has never looked better than when she’s leading an angry mob through Soho in her Mr. Softy truck.
It’s manic, it’s vaguely filled with gays, everyone hates their job, and there’s an uncanny volume of references to fire and burns. Not sure yet about that last one but c’est parfait.
