  This movie honestly was pretty disappointing. You can tell it was directed by illumination-quality directors. I didn't expect it to be good, but dang I did not expect it to be bad, which it was. Luigi was barely in the movie too, and Mario was incompelling as a protagonist, the world felt empty.   This is quite a movie. It is. I'm not sure how to describe it. It plays in a really confusing way and the writing is very strange. I'm not sure what else to say. Bale is exceptional as ever, and Margot Robbie does a great job as well. Perhaps it's worth the watch? I'm still not sure how to feel about this movie.
