can usually forgive characters making dumb choices in horror movies but this was too much. including the dad just being a pussy throughout the whole film

it feels wrong to give a movie rated this high, a low score. if someone were to explain this film to me before i watched it, it would’ve sounded like something right up my alley. but for some reason, it just didn’t click with me while i was actually watching it. maybe i’m just not used to tarkovsky’s style of directing. definitely plan on revisiting this in the near future.
