  None of this movie makes any sense and shouldn’t have to read through a thousand conspiracy theories online to piece together what happened / what this movie means.

   Acting is great but I will not give this movie any additional stars / half stars to conform to the woke public opinion

  First hour was awesome, then mid the rest of way. If you like Eggers then yeah you will love this but his style doesn’t really do it for me. Better than the Witch but I didn’t like that one that much either.

  Absolutely deserves to be watched in theaters though (I’d imagine this being pretty bad to watch at home). 

  Too much exposition / talking and not enough scary. 

  The perfect scary movie lies somewhere between Egger’s cinematography + storytelling, and Evil Dead Rise’s chaos.
