Enola Holmes is a fantastic showcase of generational cinematic balance. Given the period of time it is set and the freedom’s shown in the film it’s a clever take on life in what could’ve been a much more open and eclectic world full of embrace and acceptance. Personality, courage, pace are all but a few of the things that will keep you glued to the screen. A joyful and hopeful experience, Millie is coming into her own in this one. A bright future awaits.

Secret Window 2004
After many years have passed since watching this over and over and.. over, the plot to this day is still haunting. A much younger JD though make no mistake Johnny’s at his best in this one.

Coco 2017
Coco is for everybody.
An incredible film full of wonderment and story telling second to none in the genre of children’s film. Cinematically, both animation and character wise, it is everything I enjoyed as an adolescent, better yet, a child when we’d have movie sessions with friends and family. I also can’t help but mention due to being an adult now the play on imagination triggered something we as growing adults don’t often get to feel all too often. That innocence and effortless joy stripped of any worry and philosophical question. Something to lose yourself in! My complete admiration for music was certainly not stained either.
