When I first watched this in 2015, I was 15 and thought it was great. Sure the cast is awesome and the effects are amazing but on a rewatch now 10 years later… I am cringing. Giving dinosaurs what felt to me as almost human like behavior just weirded me out. The whole velociraptor training thing with Owen (Chris Pratt), the inaccurate dinosaur information, the cheesiness. If it’s supposed to be like a modern Jurassic Park, they forgot the horror. The action is great, but the movie is way overhyped, and I love dinosaurs.
