Conclave 2024
Absolutely incredible flick. Don’t want to ruin it but I give it top marks for cinematography (music, use of light, cut aways, etc) and writing. I was left disappointed by the ending which is what stopped a 5/5.
I really felt thrown into the emotional state of the cardinals and felt deeply empathetic for quite a few of the characters.

wow! this is cinema! I hated that I needed to watch this over 2 sittings (to no fault of the movie) but wow was this a great watch. i think the story was great and easy to follow, and the upside-down character development arc was quite inventive. I really enjoyed the cultural exploration (I obvi don’t know what life in the favelas is like), and I think the framing of certain scenes was always spot on. deffo worth a re-watch
