  I’m obsessed with the subtle metaphors in this movie: The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, the red door being painted black right before Oswald moved in, the hole in the ceiling, the use of names … I feel like I could watch this again and again and find several new things. 

  It’s gory and unsettling and funny and deeply opinionated. It’s two movies in one. I’ll have to watch again.
