This is my childhood classic. My dad showed me the trilogy when I was a child and it stuck with me. The story, the magic time travel builds, the soundtrack, the freaking soundtrack! Spectacular.

I like the power dynamic games explored in this film. It reminded me the truth of life; sex is the ultimate power. I actually thought this movie is interesting in the way it depicts how small and fucked even the most influential people are. How sick everyone is at their core. And at the same time, so human. Though the scene where they get their first hotel room and almost immediately Samuel goes "get on your knees" made me cringe so bad. Its equivalent to sticking it in with no foreplay.
