A Real Pain 2024
everything about this feels so reall and is so painful :')
first of all, the performances here are absolutely incredible and everyone involved truly deserves the recognition the movie is getting.
I ended up caring very deeply about the characters. the family dynamics are brilliantly portrayed and again, everything feels extremely real. I'm a sucker for this type of movie where everything and nothing happens—where the character dynamics and a slice of their lives are the focus.

Pray Away 2021
I feel like this wasn't as impactful as it needed to be. It didn't show the magnitude of the present problem in the best way. Why not also give us some testimonies from survivors rather than focusing completely on the people who did the wrong? Of course these people were victims too but I think half of the "spotlight" should be given to survivors and their own stories. That would make more impact
