    Bong Joon Ho can do no wrong. This cast absolutely understood the assignment. Robert Pattinson is the most underrated actor of the century. I laughed the whole movie. 

    Though I truly loved this film, its obnoxious tone resulted in the stakes never feeling quite high enough for me to be on the edge of my seat. Don’t get me wrong, I adore the humor in Bong’s films, but the balance definitely leaned more comedy than any of his previous works, and I’m not sure it paid off for me…

    DAISY RIDLEY AND TOM BATEMAN IN ATTENDANCE AT MY SCREENING TONIGHT!!! (Twin Cities Film Fest). I’d be lying if I said that fact didn’t affect my rating.     The first act of this film is incredible and I was honestly mouth agape until the animated sequence (which was beautiful, but didn’t feel super necessary). People keep using the terms “fever dream” and “nightmarish,” but honestly this is what it feels like to live with anxiety - to constantly picture the worst possible scenario at every waking moment - only in Beau’s case it actually happens.
