The Quiet Girl 2022
I haven’t cried at a film like this in awhile. Dang.
You know when you’re young, I swear you see everything differently. The cinematography was great: the empty hallways, the wallpaper, the skies. The visuals felt youthful and mastered that curiosity that children have for the world around them. And the relationships and dynamics! It’s just too tender and heartfelt, I couldn’t help but cry at that ending.

Happening 2021
‘J'aimerais un enfant un jour, mais pas au lieu d'une vie.’
‘I'd like a child one day, but not instead of a life.’
Women in directing don’t make films, they tell life stories. The woman you walked passed in the street may of lived the story you watched last night on a screen. You have to honour the movies that put the character first rather than the plot, this not a movie this is life. It’s beautiful and it’s devastating, I love to see it, it’s one big sonder machine.

Queer 2024
Luca Guadagnino sit down with me. Tell me how you feel and how you think. What are your dreams like? 😭
I love his erotic dream like cinema and it’s just proof that the gays yearn harder, it’s just that sweet desperation. Love to see it. That one song (pure love) gave me butterflies whenever I heard it, dang I adore it! It didn’t even get nominated anything at the Oscars too, not even cinematography. Every shot was beautiful and surreal, it created its own cinematic language.
