Wicked 2024
I usually pass musicals, but Wicked was actually pre good. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were both great, Ariana as Galinda really stood out. She was so good at playing the privileged airhead, born-popular aristocrat. The music, the story, the performances—everything just worked. If you are a Wizard of the Oz fan, this is a must see!

If you like goofy gore this is right up your alley. I can’t believe I spent money on these tickets.. story line sucked and at times felt lost. Very creative though. I never knew what a chainsaw could do. Won’t be rushing back for the next one

Joker: Folie à Deux was a rollercoaster! Joaquin Phoenix is still incredible as Arthur, but the addition of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn really shakes things up in the best way. I actually really liked the musical aspect—it was unexpected, but every song felt like it belonged and added to the story. None of them felt out of place. It’s a darker, more chaotic dive into Arthur’s mind, and the way they explore his relationship with Harley is super interesting. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you’re into something a bit strange and unpredictable, it’s worth watching.

Woman of the Hour 2023
Anna Kendrick does a great job keeping the tension high while telling the true story of a serial killer who appeared on a dating show. There are a few slow moments in the middle but overall it’s intense and keeps you on edge the entire time.
