Not my favourite Argento flick but I'm impressed by how consistent the quality of his films is. The metafictional elements of Tenebre are the most interesting aspect about it and hopefully a potential rewatch will make them even clearer.

Totally bonkers political satire about the inner political workings of Britain and the US with a heavy emphasis on the leadup to the Iraq War. It stands alone quite well, but perhaps I should have at least checked out The Thick of It before rushing to watch this. But what can I say, the moment I saw James Gandolfini on the poster I just couldn't help it.

The grandpappy of so many horror films and honestly, it's kind of awesome. Sure, it's awkward but just the way its made must have been so unique for the time that you gotta respect it. But there is actual enjoyment to be had here and the amount of barriers that this movie was willing to break in 1968 is crazy, it's by no means just a generic zombie flick.

Starting the new year with a bang, literally.
