this is now my favourite film and i need everyone to see and appreciate it! i felt more emotion watching this than i have from watching any other film. a masterpiece <3

why do people like this film so much? i thought it was going to be a fun movie with exceptional dancing in it. instead I was traumatised by misogyny, homophobia, racism and MULTIPLE r*pe scenes. it’s also a very bleak and completely incorrect depiction of 1970s disco culture. they’re literally at a disco club with no gay, black and brown people? just a bunch of white people line dancing?? apart from the soundtrack being amazing I can say nothing good about this film. be careful out there.
