As an unmuddied lake. As clear as an azure sky of deepest summer.

Oh God, where do I even start? This cinematic gem just keeps getting better with every watch—aging like fine wine, or maybe like my procrastination skills. I ought to rewatch a few more times for my EE (totally for academic purposes, of course), but can we talk about Mrs. Danvers for a second? Because damn, that woman was obsessed with Rebecca. At this point, I refuse to believe she wasn’t lesbian🥀💔.
Literally a brain teaser every time a woman appeared on screen, we were screaming in fear. The film’s malicious, unsettling vibe keeps you on edge, and the surrealism only amplifies the anxiety. After Hours feels like a fever dream spiraling into chaos, where every interaction is more nightmarish than the last. The ending ties it all together in a way that’s both darkly comedic and deeply unnerving. An absolute masterpiece of paranoia and absurdity.
" All the years he was happy, didn't learn a thing." What was i thinking when i first reviewed this movie a 4 and a half instead of 5 stars. Little miss sunshine is a very melancholic yet comforting movie, everything about it is perfect. I know the term masterpiece is thrown a lot these days but if this is not considered an absolute masterclass of cinema i don't know what is.
