I like it when films are actually feminist and acknowledge that when feminism advocates for women to be able to choose what kind of life they want to live, that means that they can choose to live a traditional life if they want to. I’m not sure if I would describe it as empowering, but it’s realistic and not a bad thing

Black Mirror: Hated in the Nation 2016
i didn’t really like this? had to watch it on 1.25x speed just to get it over with faster. they could have contacted the social media company and gotten the hashtag banned from the site? i also thought the message of this was pretty stupid. i get that it was supposed to be about cancel culture and bandwagon hate and stuff but the way they portrayed it here felt so far from reality that it didn’t even make me feel…

Red, White & Royal Blue 2023
Ummmm in all honesty it was a little cringe but Alex Claremont Diaz is soooooo pretty and there were just enough cute moments to the point where I think it balanced out the cringe
I think the funny parts were REALLY funny but idk a lot of the important moments were just kinda off. The dialogue in those scenes felt almost like a disney movie and it didn’t make me wanna take it seriously
