A Quiet Place 2018
Solid horror movie that doesn't rely heavily on jump scares. It rather builds tension with quality setup even if things were a bit predictable at times. This makes the jump scares that happen much more effective. The main downside lies in characters falling into the horror cliche of being really stupid during a few key plot points. A side note for me was the teeth causing Eminem's 'Venom' chorus to play on repeat in my head, but that's not the this movie's fault. I blame Eminem's decline into mediocrity and the abomination that is the movie Venom.
