Probably not as fun of a movie for anyone who doesn’t get the references and nods it makes to its source material, but as someone who plays D&D I thought it was cute.

Yeah, there were some issues with the pacing and it could’ve been cut down 20 minutes or so, but overall it was pretty solid and I got some cool ideas for the campaign I’m running so as a whole the film is a win.

An amazing animated picture that manages to paint scenes that are both beautiful and disturbing. While the author may claim that the book is simply meant to be a straightforward read, I somehow doubt his words.

Some of the most fun I’ve ever had watching a movie. Every other “multiverse” styled movie (at least within the superhero genre) will look up to this series and inevitably fall short in recreating it’s magic.

With a unique cast of characters all with great designs and top-tier, personality-filled animation, Across the Spider-Verse is everything anyone could’ve wanted for a sequel to the first film.
