Don’t get me wrong, Goji is great in this film but honestly? He gets overshadowed by the heart wrenching story of a soldier deserting his nation in the midst of World War 2
The tortured soul of a man who can’t find a reason to live, forced to face a monster feeding into his fears? Genuinely one of the best Godzilla human stories there is.
Seeing a lot of Godzilla in the water actually swimming was actually really cool? Really makes this movie stand out for me since it’s not really something I think we’re used too.Translated from by -

The movie really makes you feel the constant torture Godzilla is going through with all his new painful evolutions.
The scene of him first using his atomic breath genuinely brings me to tears every-time I watch it.
Instead of having a singular human protagonist, the film focuses on Japan as a whole, and how the country itself would react to a threat like Godzilla in modern day, It’s amazing seeing all the moving parts and their eventual triumph over Godzilla feels a lot more earned than in most films.

RAPTURED 2024
This is by far the most outstanding piece of media I have ever had the pleasure of viewing.
Though presented as a horror, which it definitely still delivers on, the short student film is filled with genuinely funny moments that had the entire theatre erupting with laughter.
Seeing this masterpiece on the big screen was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will never forget.
