i didn’t know what i was getting into because i’m a 21 year old watching a children’s movie, but it changed my life. the animation was peak of its time. perhaps it was a post modern exploration of racism in the prehistoric era or a progressive stance on non-nuclear families. whatever it was

Downsizing 2017
An entertaining watch but the plot got kind of muddled. It starts as more of a sci-fi film, but then turns into a love story, then an end of the world flick? I honestly have no idea. But the acting was pretty spot on and nuanced. The cinematography was rather understated in a precise and clean cut way. An original concept that I wish were explored more.
