  had an absolutely hellish time trying to get to metrograph for this screening. transferred from the L to find out i had to wait 14 minutes for the F. F train stuck at 2nd ave for 10 minutes, doors opening and closing and opening and closing. rushed to the theater and hated that i didn't have enough time to buy a diet coke and popcorn before the movie began. felt ashamed of being that person walking in late and jostling…

  what if i said that when i was in high school i was so obsessed with this movie that my parents got me a copy of the out of print book for chanukah and a number of years later i got to meet cameron crowe at an event for we bought a zoo and he signed the book and wrote in it 'have a bitchin' summer'
