  i feel like when they finished editing this they were like “wow we really ate that!” and then they rewatched it before they sent it out and they were like “dear god what have we done.”

  this was bad. genuinely. and i LOVE the musical and obviously love the original 2004 movie, but they didn’t decide if this was a movie musical or an adaptation of the original and they failed to do either successfully, not even hot sexy renee…
