Waouh!!! I feel so empowered. A necessary viewing.
“Yintah” beautifully shows Indigenous resistance as a movement for justice and a struggle against colonialism. “Yintah” is also an invitation to stand with everyone to reject this colonial violence and unjust system and to call for justice, unity, respect and solidarity with all Peoples and the land.
We have to stand against the invaders of our lands, our minds and our lives!!!
Thank you Yintah

The World 2004
Way too slow. I got bored.
I didn't get the narrative. Okay that's representing that we lived in a falsified word with falsified relationships. Wah so cool unique perspective (second-degree ofc). However, I recognize that the film could be read as a critique of capitalist-run imposed unjust globalization and classist sexism.
But what about the GBSV??? This movie is at best a romanticisation of a bunch of assholes men abusing poor rural migrant women who, while demonstrating potential feminist empowering, just end up conforming to sexist stereotypes... Women are clearly objectified in this movie.Translated from by
