Mixed feelings on this one. Fun to return to the Lion King universe and I liked it a lot more by the end than throughout. But it also felt far less authentic, meaningful, and memorable than the original. The animation is impressive, but the pace of movement is almost tiring to watch. In fact, the pacing of the whole film felt rushed, especially the dialogue.

The Living Sea 1995
Saw this decades ago in Hawaii and have continued to listen to the soundtrack through the years. Great job by Sting. Meryl Streep's voiceover is fitting but nothing special.
The footage is good (but dated), and the content is mildly educational. The coast guard boat scene is pretty awesome. But overall, it's just got good vibes and makes you want to live on an island and be in the ocean all day.
