Incredible in every way. I cried multiple times. It’s a fitting conclusion. Wish I saw some more of certain characters, but I loved this movie.

Speak No Evil 2022
This movie made me feel strong emotions. Automatically gets points for that. Is extremely dark and slow, and gets to be one of the darker movies I’ve seen in a long time. Purposely frustrating. Graphic. And I very much enjoyed this film. Loses a little bit of points because of some missing context and a little bit of a lacking message.

Babylon 2022
I looked forward to this since Whiplash and La La Land are two of my favorites. I love Chazelle’s directing style, his emphasis on Jazz music, and his signature ending scenes. This movie made a small part of me wish I had gone into film despite having a pretty dark tone in the latter half of the movie. It isn’t as cohesive as some might like, and there are just a few things that didn’t totally hit the mark, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Go see it in a theater.
