I genuinely don’t know how to review this. I really liked the action/slapstick comedy aspect, but the revenge drama elements jar thematically in the WORST ways.

The Company of Wolves 1984
Especially based on the poster, I was not expecting such a thoughtful and beautifully shot engagement with the Red Riding Hood story and folklore/storytelling in general. Every frame of this movie looks like an illustration from a book of fairy tales, and I need to rewatch during Halloween.
