A Complete Unknown 2024
It thought it was cool. Very well shot. Difficult to structure a film with all those scenes of just a voice and a guitar. Pretty boring tho. No drama. A scene that happened in reality, in Manchester, happens in some boring US town. What the hell is up with that. Would have been way better in Manchester. Urgh. Oh yeah it made me like Chalamet, didn’t like him before watching it. It has also got me into Bob Dylan.

Dun dun deh di duh duh dehhh. Spell binding. The magic of Kubrick in a Scorsese setting with Scorsese motifs. The nudity is elegant and abhorrent. The film is sublimely gentle with its lighting. Tom cruise is a proper Barbie’s Ken. Impressive acting and yet plastic enough for the imagination to project itself upon him. Humankind is derided.
