  as much as i love the grey academia aesthetic and the wonderful face of eddie redmayne, i think that as a biopic the film could’ve gone more into his life as a scientist. however, the log line of the movie is “the incredible story of JANE and stephen hawking” so i think it’s perfectly fine that the film focuses on his personal life, and the values of family.
