one of my favorite movies of all time. harmony korine‘s art disturbes me sometimes, but all in all it’s a classic edgy low budget movie with an interesting plot line. the social aspects about the main characters, portray another part of society that many people often tend to forget. it seems like people from lower classes often feel misunderstood, left behind and stuck in their community. i also found a really strong sense of nihilism inside this movie, which in my opinion was really important to show.
i think weird art students or nerds will get it. its authentic in its own way.
