  I usually don't mind musicals, but in this case, the songs felt quite haphazard and poorly crafted to me. "Thank you math" and some others just made me cringe - although perhaps that was what they were going for

  IMO, Kurosawa's most insightful film. It delves into the core of life, presenting its essence in his characteristic idealistic style that highlights the absurdity of hypocrisy, as well as the pain of selfishness and disregard

  Not feeling particularly articulate at the moment, but overall, this is an immensely satisfying story beautifully captured on film. The photography, set in post-war Japan, is striking... yyeeee!!

  It's probably not the best biopic ever made but I personally loved this take on Elvis. I loved that it exposed The Colonel's abuse and gave some insight to just how much Elivs worked for the benefit of others. He took care of everyone.
