  My seven-year-old daughter wanted to leave the cinema early. Not because she was scared, she was outright bored and was calling out the film for how stupid she found it (and she loved the first part). Couldn't agree more. One extra star for the little chicken, the piglet and the living coconut - the only interesting characters.

  Squid Game 2021

  The first six episodes live up to the hype with episode six being the standout among the nine episodes. Unfortunately, in the end Squid Game doesn't quite deliver with its final episodes. I saw the twists coming miles away.
  A great finale could have elevated Squid Game above the mere shock factor it will be remembered for. Still worth watching, with great moments in the first half and great acting all around.
