    Love Is Colder Than Death

An interesting exercise for those who appreciate classic Cinema, as it demands patience and sensitiveness from the telespector for its slow rhythm and few lines. Definitely it’s a shock for a generation which is used to watch fast, direct and appealing movies.

However, don’t expect profound dialogues or a mesmerizing direction, like some other enigmatic classic movies. The movie is quite ordinary and, indeed, cold.

Utterly beautiful. Speaks of love, selfishness, integrity, dilemmas and choices. The message transcends the already expected love story and leads to a drama beyond the couple. Very sensitive.

Dolan is terrific and let us know that, once again, in this unbearable and must-watch movie. How come a movie that hurts so bad can be at the same time unmissable? How a claustrophobic experience such as this is worthy to be felt? At the end of it, my lungs were gasping for air and I had misted over eyes with tears dropping ragefully over my cheek. A frighten and unique sensation that only a few movies throughout my life had the power of triggering. Be my guest and let yourself drawn in this beautiful Dolan's chaos.

I cannot say it is surprisingly good, as we are speaking of a director who gets us used to astonishing movies. However, I can say for sure it escalates a peculiar mindblowing plot, which was unexpected for me. The film delivers a delightful escape from reality at the same time it keeps a comfortable human essence always there. I felt like I shouldn't blink my eyes so I wouldn't miss one single scene. Petrificant without being overwrought and thoroughly delicate. If you thought "Sicario" was a terrific movie, given its well-constructed women lead role and its humanity touch, be ready for "Arrival", therefore.
