Classic slice of life
Seemingly with no major plot, this movie still draws you in and drops you in a different era. It builds the 70s in Austin in a way that creates nostalgia despite being born decades later. The soundtrack, as always a classic. It creates a sense of comfort as you follow along the different characters and plot lines. Every time I watch it, it just gets funnier and more enjoyable. It really is an amazing comfort movie.
