Arrival 2016
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Massive pebble like space ships land on planet Earth and start throwing down some serious shade onto the population. The army kick off and want to bomb them to billions of bits, but a lady who is proper sound at languages starts communicating to them like 4 years olds.
Things move on, and it turns out the lady with the dead fancy lexicon has a weapon in her head.
Would watch again.

Seduced by beautiful film trailers that carried the name of Ridley Scott; I ventured out to finally catch The Martian. Rogue 2007
It's a bit like Jaws but with a crocodile and no underwater cello. It does have its jaunty moments, however it's quite hard to get beyond the photostock casting and the fact a massive crocodile lives in a tree (possible spoiler). Worth a watch on a wet Wednesday evening.
