It's been a long long time since I've laughed this much during a movie. It's an uplifting, hopeful look into one of the most twisted and least empathetic industries on the planet. I love it.

Soul 2020
I don't know if I would watch this again but it's got some insanely cool visual style to it that elevates it above some other Pixar stuff of late. Overall a fairly regular Disney-style story about finding yourself and such. Wish it had leaned more on the Jazz half of things.

Coco 2017
I'm really conflicted about Coco. I'm an absolute sucker for the Dia de los Muertos style and this is a stunning film to look at. The colours are so vibrant, and the land of the dead has an almost black velvet feel to it with all the neon colours.
Sound-wise the movie is spectacular as well, fun songs, great sound design and all the bones feel like bones.
