The Suicide Squad 2021
Definitely so high because of the context the film exists in.
It seems the fact the film does go to such extremes does make the film a kind of cinematic exploration, a stuffy almost, hidden inside a big summer blockbuster.
In a way the fact no character is safe let’s the audience appreciate them more, and realise which characters they actually root for and which they don’t - because their death is a great litmus test.
