The Social Dilemma 2020
Rife with misleading or downright incorrect statistics paired with ham-fisted emotional delivery and absurd dramatization leads me to not trust a documentary such as this. The idea is fine, showing people how social media is bad and can be exploitative. However, seems a bit hypocritical when there’s a bunch of ex-big tech defects who’ve come to this platform to try to emotionally manipulate me into agreeing that their former employers are the spawn of satan. Thank you for reminding me how social media can be bad but this is unnecessary.

I recommend this film to anyone who enjoyed Koyaanisqatsi. For me personally, this movie fell short in terms of impact compared to the first movie. However, I don’t believe it is as much a result of the design as it is the ability for me to relate and fill in the gaps.
Watching the first movie, I was able to connect my experience as a US viewer who has been to and experienced the places and atmospheres portrayed in it…

Beautiful film portraying the varying forces of nature that are usually considered separate. A view into our own behaviors and environment that with a lack of dialogue, allows the viewer to reflect and derive their own meaning.
