It's essentially a high budget, star studded student film. Clearly brimming with creative energy it unfortunately lacks confidence in any of it's key ideas leaving you with a lot of ropey, half finished metaphors and lazy ambiguity. It contains several cool moments like the improv between the cast and Detroit locals, a violent piece of performance art and the ever present, gorgeous cinematography.
