  Kubo and the Two Strings 2016

  This was a beautiful movie. I somehow didn't know about it until a year after it came out, but I'm glad I finally watched it. I described it to my wife as Moana meets Coco in Japan, only because I saw those two movies first. But if you liked/loved either of those, as I did, then I think you'll like/love this one, too. The animation is incredible. I wasn't sure at first if it was stop motion or CGI—it's both, and it looks amazing.
