  Robert Pattinson does a great job, the ending is both tragic and profound. John David Washington is also fantastic and really sells the character of “The Protagonist.”

  Really bland and predictable, lack of any deep commentary on the idea of AI instead making the villains cartoonishly evil to a nonsensical degree. “Yes, we hate AI, now let’s nuke a bunch of villages with our super weapon that (apparently) can’t stop a single ship from boarding it.” They were willing to kill thousands of civilians, yet can’t blow up a plane that had the only thing that could possibly destroy their trillion dollar ship? In summation, it was dumb and I am disappointed.

  Great movie very much hampered by the final 20 minutes. Would have maybe be seen as a touch derivative if not for that last 20 minutes, but I think I just wanted more Alien than any attempt at originality to be frank.
