The Conclave being shot in one building was the basis for its gestures towards a totality. The film is of an insulated world in crisis, the light of an opened window, the light of god, to let the wind in to whisper the name of the most worthy pontiff to be as the deacons vote. As in faith, mindful pruning of the literal enabled the opening to universal. This movie had compelling character studies that The Brutalist unfortunately could not muster. The cinematography was excellent and suited the pace and arch of the narrative. Great movie.

Great depiction of reality. The viewer becomes familiar the contours of his secluded life and points of contact with others which are brighter as they are few. The world is beautiful enough to sustain happiness or at least contentless so go back to your horrible job.
