  Loved the heartfelt timeless story of connection and making your own family. Cooperation, empathy, letting go, living in the moment. This film has zero dialogue and no humans. The beauty and innocence of animals are captured and showcased through its “species-diverse” cast of characters. The cat travels as a loner, gaining confidence, experiencing love, and developing a new perspective. 
  The digital animation is simple but unique and effective. The story, pacing, and engaging musical score had me in tears. Beautiful film. Pulls at the heart like a Miyazaki film but not as heartbreaking.

  This film is better than it seems. Inoticed alot more on a second viewing. The solid acting, character development, direction, and period accurate production design make this a decent film. The dialogue and mid 80s nostalgia alone make this an enjoyable film to watch

  Over rated. Over the top. Kinda boring masterbatory filmmaking. Ellen Bernstein’s performance was the best thing about this film. A couple clever moments of dialogue too and high production value. But otherwise utterly ridiculous exercise in sensationalism by some self important director. (Although I feel like he does redeem himself with The Wrestler)
