The Substance 2024
This movie combines sweet creative shots with an interesting storyline. I loved the wide angle lens they use to get angles not seen in many films. They definitely achieved the disturbing vibes they were going for. This was almost a 5 star film for me but the ending was prolonged in the weirdest way they could think of. The conclusion tied nicely(ish) to the very beginning with the Hollywood star.

Fun family Halloween movie. You don’t really need to see the first to understand this one but it may boost the overall enjoyment. The film makes several references to the first throughout the film. Jenna Ortega made the move an easy watch.
Would see again.
