Legitimately one of the best things to come out of the One Piece anime. Megumi Ishitani has proven before that she is an incredible director, and letting her show off like this is a joy to witness. The very idea of a stage play of one of my favorite films of all time, was very intriguing and even more so, when I found out that it has Kanna Hashimoto in it. However, I assumed that this was going to be yet another stage play, that I'll never see in my life. When it was announced, that there is going to be a film version of it, I was really excited.

My theater experience is very limited. I…
