  I will refuse to watch Red Dragon out of principle now because Manhunter is a masterpiece.

  PEAK sophisticated and sleek 80’s crime thriller. Michael Mann shooting lights out from downtown post-Miami Vice TV show. The “It’s just you and me now, sport. I’m gonna find you goddammit.” scene/moment might be the greatest 0:45 seconds in Michael Mann’s filmography, maybe even in cinema history.
