    I don't think I've seen Rome portrayed as ugly and depraved as I have here (Caligula aside, I guess). It feels like it was set in one of the 7 Circles of Hell. I'm not at all familiar with it's source material and I admit to being more than a little confused at times and even not understanding what I had just seen after having finished the movie. Though, the more I think about it the more I like it.

    A great look a primary race between JFK and and a very old man. It was one of, maybe the first, documentary to use handheld cameras which allowed the filmmakers the opportunity to be right in the action. You feel like you're right there. If you're at all interested in 1960s America you've got to see this.

    Where can you even begin? The best thing you can say about it is that It's an "interesting" cultural artifact from the late 1970s and the costumes are fairly faithful adaptions from the comics, for better and worse, but mostly look like they're homemade by someone's mom.

    This is in two parts, the first, and least awful of the two, being The Chase where the heroes have to stop the villains from detonating a bomb that will destroy the earth.…
