wow just wow. how i miss this man's music, all credit for my love of dj music comes from this dude. he was chainsmokers before chainsmokers. this man's ran the 2010s. this was such a great documentary that gave his music another level of depth and just wow.

Begin Again 2013
watched this long ago as a teen, now that i'm older i wanted to watch it again. also it has lost stars which is such a good song. i enjoyed the film, gives you a glimpse of love in different ways and also is just a cool movie about music. i lowkey have been writing these reviews late so i can't confirm that this is a 4 star but i think it's pretty decent

goddamn this movie was so fucking good. its been the first movie that I've watched in a while where i didn't analyze everything about it. ever since getting letterboxd I've become hella picky and critical with the elements of movies. it was like being a kid and watching a movie. this was a great feel good movie with a splash of reality. it covered all bases too, action, excitement, euphoria, romance, comedy, bittersweet, family love, and friendship. it lowkey gets plus points for being on theme with the season.
