  I can see why this film has the appeal that it does and I do think it is an interesting character study, but I was just completely unable to move past my hatred of said character. Maybe that’s a me problem but yeah, I just found this movie to be extremely disappointing. The score and the cinematography makes it worth two stars and again, I can see why it’s such a well loved film, it just really was not for me

  I have a lot of thoughts about this movie because damn I LOVE folklore and explorations of it, I love the way they show religious paranoia, I loved the acting and the cinematography and the genuine unsettling nature of the whole film.
