This movie was incredible. It was so well thought out. Specifically his son who has more maturity than his dad underlines the problematic past of the dad. Being groomed at 12, convinced because you don’t know better that it is right, he never had the chance to grow up. The mirror between the biological son and the dad brings this forward beautifully. Furthermore, the metaphoric background of the butterflies; embodying the actress morphing into someone other more specifically Gracie, but…
